05 - 2 large egg yolks
06 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
07 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

08 - 10 Oreo cookies, crushed

# How to Make It:
01 - Whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a medium saucepan until smooth.
02 - Place saucepan over medium heat and cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens and bubbles, approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
03 - Whisk egg yolks in a small bowl; gradually whisk in about 1/2 cup of the hot milk mixture to temper the eggs.
04 - Pour the tempered egg yolks back into the saucepan, whisking continuously, then cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.
05 - Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla extract until fully combined and smooth.
06 - Transfer pudding into serving glasses or bowls and allow to cool at room temperature for 10 minutes or chill for at least 1 hour if preferred.
07 - Sprinkle crushed Oreos generously over the pudding and top with whipped cream if desired before serving.
